1996 TOYOTA Hiace Super GL 4wd Diesel Van
Here is a set of preliminary photos of the 1996 Toyota HiAce Super GL 4wd van we have in the works. Keep in mind these are preliminary photos, so please reference the sold section of our website for images of what the final product will look like. Here’s a Super GL model we recently customized and sold:

This HiAce has a diesel engine, with automatic transmission, and full-time 4wd (all-wheel-drive). It clocks a low 80,000 original miles, which is really only getting started for Toyota's 3L model 2.8 liter diesel engine, known to exceed 500,000 miles before a rebuild is required.
This Super GL has a rear bench seats that fold up and out of the way, but the bench doesn’t appear to have seatbelts.
There are a handful of cosmetic issues with the van. Repair options and pricing are listed below.
Consistent with all the vans we sell, it will receive a full timing belt job and maintenance update: new timing belt, new idler and tensioner pulleys, new camshaft and crankshaft seal, new water pump, new thermostat, new radiator cap, coolant flush, transmission fluid, fresh motor oil and filter, all new drive belts, new fuel filter, new air filter, fresh front and rear differential oil, fresh transfer case oil, and all new coolant carrying hoses. On top of all that, she'll get brand new all-terrain tires and a modest suspension lift. The van will also receive a full inspection, and any other incidental repairs will be made prior to the final sale release. Just before the final transfer, it will receive a full detail, inside and out.
A large part of what you gain when purchasing your vehicle from Vanlife Northwest is our knowledge base and experience throughout the life of your adventure mobile. I can confidently say no one in the US has more experience with these vans, and solutions for problems gleaned only from that first hand experience.
Pricing: All the following options will include our full mechanical overhaul work cited above, and detailing inside and out. A good buffing will go a long way, and I fully expect the paint to shine when we’re done. We will also include repairing and repainting the roof of the van (see pictures). We will repaint the bumpers, wipers, and mirrors black. Price for all of the above is $25,000. Add-on options: Add $500 to repaint the lower teal section of the rear hatch door due to paint damage (see pictures). I am happy to discuss repair options and costs for the remaining dents should a buyer decide to proceed with those repairs.
If you are interested in reserving this van, please pay the $1,000 deposit. This deposit is non-refundable, and goes towards the final cost of the van.
